StudyPerth International Student Welcome Day Competitions, August 2025.
Competition 1: Passport Competition - The first 300 attendees of the StudyPerth International Student Welcome Day will be given a Passport to collect stamps. If they collect a stamp from every booth, and enter their completed passport into the entry box, they will go in the running to win a gift card prize, outlined below. They must be present at the event when the prize is drawn in order to be eligible.
Grand prize: AUD$200 gift card
Second prize: AUD$150 gift card
Third prize: AUD$100 gift card
Competition 2: Door Prize - All attendees of the StudyPerth International Student Welcome Day Event will be able to collect a raffle ticket upon entry, and go into the running to win a prize, outlined below. They must be present at the event when the prize is drawn in order to be eligible.
Grand prize: Oppo A60 5G Phone
Second prize: Optus X Pro 5G Phone

How to enter
Competition 1: You can enter the StudyPerth International Student Welcome Day Passport Competition, August 2025 (hereafter called 'Competition 1') by attending the StudyPerth International Student Welcome Day Event and collecting a stamp from each of the booths at the event, during the entry period (an "Entry"). There will be three (3) prizes of gift cards of varying values.
Competition 2: You can enter the StudyPerth International Student Welcome Day Door Prize Competition, August 2025 (hereafter called 'Competition 2') by attending the StudyPerth International Student Welcome Day Event and collecting a raffle ticket from a StudyPerth representative upon entry. There will be two (2) prizes of mobile phones.

Competition 1:- To be eligible for entry into Competition 1, you must satisfy the following eligibility criteria:
- Be one of the first three hundred (300) people to attend the StudyPerth International Student Welcome Day event, held on Wednesday 20th August 2025 from 2pm-5pm at Perth Mess Hall.
- Submit one (1) valid entry, which is achieved by collecting a stamp from each booth at the event on the Passport provided, and placing the completed Passport into the entry box.
- Contact information must be included on the Passport, including First Name, Last Name, Email Address, and Phone Number.
- Be present at the event when the prize is drawn at approximately 4.30pm.
- Only one entry per person.
- Accept and comply with all these conditions.
- Employees and immediate family members of StudyPerth and Members of StudyPerth are not eligible to enter the Promotion.
- To be eligible for entry into Competition 1, you must satisfy the following eligibility criteria:

- Attend the StudyPerth International Student Welcome Day event, held on Wednesday 20th August 2025 from 2pm-5pm at Perth Mess Hall.
- Collect one (1) valid raffle ticket from a StudyPerth representative upon entry into the event.
- Be present at the event when the prize is drawn at approximately 4.30pm.
- Only one entry per person.
- Accept and comply with all these conditions.
- Employees and immediate family members of StudyPerth and Members of StudyPerth are not eligible to enter the Promotion.
- To be eligible for entry into Competition 2, you must satisfy the following eligibility criteria:
- Entry Period
- Competition 1 and Competition 2 will run from 2pm Wednesday 20th August 2025 until 4.30pm Wednesday 20th August 2025. All times are GMT+8 Australian Western Standard Time. (“Entry Period”).
- Entry Fee
- There is no entry fee to participate in this Promotion.
- Prize
Competition 1:- There are three (3) prizes: physical gift cards with the values of AUD$200, AUD$150, and AUD$100.
- The prize cannot be exchanged for cash.
- StudyPerth's decision regarding the Winner is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Competition 1:- Competition 1 is a game of chance. Three (3) prizes will be selected at random at 4.30pm on Friday 20th August 2025 (AWST time) from entries collected during the event.
- The Winner will be notified at the event. They must be present in order to collect their Prize. If the Winner is no longer present at the event at the time of announcement, they will be deemed ineligible and will forfeit their Prize. In this instance, a new Winner will be chosen.
- You acknowledge and agree that the decision by StudyPerth to accept, reject or disqualify an Entry is at StudyPerth’s sole discretion and no correspondence will be entered into.
Competition 2:

- Competition 2 is a game of chance. Two (2) prizes will be selected at random at 4.30pm on Friday 20th August 2025 (AWST time) from entries collected during the event.
- The Winner will be notified at the event. They must be present in order to collect their Prize. They must hold the correct raffle ticket number. If the Winner is no longer present at the event at the time of announcement, or they are unable to present the correct raffle ticket number, they will be deemed ineligible and will forfeit their Prize. In this instance, a new Winner will be chosen.
- You acknowledge and agree that the decision by StudyPerth to accept, reject or disqualify an Entry is at StudyPerth’s sole discretion and no correspondence will be entered into.
- To redeem the Prize
- To redeem the prize, the Winner must collect the Prize at the time of announcement at the event.
- Privacy
- StudyPerth collects personal information about you to conduct the promotion and, where appropriate, to award a prize. StudyPerth will collect, use, and disclose your personal Information in accordance with its privacy policy. If you do not provide the personal Information requested, StudyPerth will be unable to accept your entry (and StudyPerth will refuse or reject the Entry) and you will be unable to participate in the promotion. You can gain access to, update or correct your personal Information held by StudyPerth by contacting StudyPerth at marketing@studyperth.com.au.
- All Personal Information will be stored electronically in systems utilised by StudyPerth. A copy of StudyPerth’s Privacy Policy may be obtained at: https://www.studyperth.com.au/privacy-policy/ or by contacting StudyPerth on marketing@studyperth.com.au.
- Disqualification
- Entries that do not comply with these terms and conditions will be disqualified.
- StudyPerth reserves the right, at any time, in its sole discretion, to verify the validity of Entries and your eligibility (including your identity, age, place of residence, student visa status, institution enrolment) and StudyPerth reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify you if StudyPerth has reason to believe you have breached any of these Terms, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of the Promotion. StudyPerth's legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
- Liability
- Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, StudyPerth and its related entities (including its respective directors, officers, employees and agents) are not responsible for and exclude all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any Loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of:
- Any entry or Prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged, or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by StudyPerth) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of StudyPerth;
- any variation in Prize value to that stated in these Terms;
- any tax liability incurred by a beneficiary of a Prize (including you and any other Prize Recipient);
- use/taking of the Prize; or
- the Promotion.
- Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, StudyPerth and its related entities (including its respective directors, officers, employees and agents) are not responsible for and exclude all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any Loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of:
- Changes and Termination
- StudyPerth reserves the right to amend or terminate the competition at any time.
- Participants will be notified of any such changes.
- Governing Law
- These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Western Australia, and you agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of Western Australia.
- Nothing in these terms limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), as well as any other implied warranties under the Australian Securities and Investments Commission Act 2001 (Cth) or similar consumer protection laws in the states and territories of Australia (collectively, the “Non-Excludable Guarantees”).
- Failure by StudyPerth to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
- Condition 16 for trade promotion lotteries requires that: “If practicable, members of the public must be given the opportunity to witness the prize draw. If that is not practicable, audit records confirming the prize draw must be made available to an authorised officer or member of the Police Force on request.”
- Accordingly, unless it is impracticable (such as due to COVID-19 restrictions etc.) to do so, the selection must be open to attendance by members of the general public.
- Definitions
- In these Terms:
- “Intellectual Property Rights” means all present and future rights of whatever nature anywhere in the world including, but not limited to, rights in respect of or in connection with copyright, inventions (including patents), trademarks, service marks, trade names, domain names, designs, confidential information, trade secrets and know-how and similar industrial, commercial and intellectual property rights, whether or not registered or registrable, and includes the right to apply for the registration of such rights, and whether existing in Australia or otherwise.
- “Laws” means all laws including rules of common law, principles of equity, statutes, regulations, proclamations, ordinances, by-laws, rules, regulatory principles and requirements, statutory rules of an industry body, statutory mandatory codes of conduct, writs, orders, injunctions, judgments, and generally accepted accounting principles in Australia.
- “Losses” means loss, damage, liability, charge, expense or cost (including all reasonable legal and other professional costs on a full indemnity basis) of any nature or kind.
- “Personal Information” means, for the purpose of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), information or an opinion about an identified individual, or an individual who is reasonably identifiable, whether the information or opinion is true or not and whether the information or opinion is recorded in a material form or not.
- “Winner” means, for a major Prize, you or the other individual whom you invite to join with you in enjoying the benefit of the major Prize.
- In these Terms:
By participating in Competition 1 or Competition 2, all participants agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
