StudyPerth School Program - School Holiday Movie Giveaway, July 2025.
As part of the StudyPerth School Program - School Holiday Movie Giveaway (hereafter called "the Promotion") International school students in Western Australia can claim two (2) movie tickets redeemable at Palace Cinemas Raine Square. Terms and conditions apply, as set out below.
- Promoter
- The promoter is Perth Education City Inc. (ABN 76 842 611 690) (“StudyPerth”), 555 Wellington Street, Perth WA 6000. Telephone number: +61 (8) 6244 1640.
- Eligibility and How to Claim
- To be eligible for entry into the Promotion, you must satisfy the following eligibility criteria:
- Be an international school student currently enrolled in an educational institution in Western Australia.
- Be 18 years old or younger.
- Register for the campaign via this link. You will receive an email with instructions for collection.
- Collection:
- Visit the StudyPerth International Student Hub (555 Wellington Street, Perth) during the following times: 7th July to 20th July, Monday to Friday, 11am-4pm.
- Print and sign the StudyPerth Parental Consent Form and bring it to the StudyPerth hub.
- Follow StudyPerth on Instagram (@StudyPerth).
- Only one entry per person.
- Accept and comply with all these conditions.
- To be eligible for entry into the Promotion, you must satisfy the following eligibility criteria:
- Entry Period
- The promotion will run from 11am Monday 7th June 2025 until 4pm Friday 20th June 2025, or while stocks last. StudyPerth reserves the right to terminate the Promotion early if all stock has been claimed. All times are GMT+8 Australian Western Standard Time. (“Entry Period”).
- Entry Fee
- There is no entry fee to participate in this Promotion.
- Movie Tickets
- A total of six hundred (600) movie tickets are available for distribution and will be distributed on a first-come-first-served basis, with a limit of two (2) tickets per student for the entire Entry Period.
- Tickets are redeemable at Palace Cinemas Raine Square and are valid for 12 months from June 2025.
- Tickets are valid for movies with a PG or lower classification only.
- Tickets will be provided as printed copies upon collection. Neither StudyPerth nor Palace Cinemas Raine Square is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged tickets.
- Tickets cannot be exchanged for cash or any other items.
- General Conditions
- Neither StudyPerth nor Palace Cinemas Raine Square are responsible for technical issues or failures affecting entry or giveaway distribution.
- You agree to indemnify and hold harmless StudyPerth and Palace Cinemas Raine Square against any losses or damages arising from any breach of these Terms of Use.

- Privacy
- StudyPerth collects personal information about you to conduct the promotion and, where appropriate, to award a prize. StudyPerth will collect, use, and disclose your personal Information in accordance with its privacy policy. If you do not provide the personal Information requested, StudyPerth will be unable to accept your entry (and StudyPerth will refuse or reject the Entry) and you will be unable to participate in the promotion. You can gain access to, update or correct your personal Information held by StudyPerth by contacting StudyPerth at marketing@studyperth.com.au.

- Disqualification
- StudyPerth and Palace Cinemas Raine Square reserve the right to disqualify any entry that does not comply with these Terms or is found to be fraudulent or unlawful.
- StudyPerth reserves the right, at any time, in its sole discretion, to verify the validity of Entries and your eligibility (including your identity, age, place of residence, student visa status, institution enrolment) and StudyPerth reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify you if StudyPerth has reason to believe you have breached any of these Terms, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of the Promotion. StudyPerth's legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
- Liability
- Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, StudyPerth and its related entities (including its respective directors, officers, employees and agents) are not responsible for and exclude all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any Loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of:
- Any entry or Prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged, or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by StudyPerth) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of StudyPerth;
- any variation in Prize value to that stated in these Terms;
- any tax liability incurred by a beneficiary of a Prize (including you and any other Prize Recipient);
- use/taking of the Prize; or
- the Promotion.
- Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, StudyPerth and its related entities (including its respective directors, officers, employees and agents) are not responsible for and exclude all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any Loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of:
- Changes and Termination
- StudyPerth reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Giveaway at any time without prior notice.
- Governing Law
- These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Western Australia, and you agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of Western Australia.
- Nothing in these terms limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), as well as any other implied warranties under the Australian Securities and Investments Commission Act 2001 (Cth) or similar consumer protection laws in the states and territories of Australia (collectively, the “Non-Excludable Guarantees”).
- Failure by StudyPerth to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
- Condition 16 for trade promotion lotteries requires that: “If practicable, members of the public must be given the opportunity to witness the prize draw. If that is not practicable, audit records confirming the prize draw must be made available to an authorised officer or member of the Police Force on request.”
- Accordingly, unless it is impracticable (such as due to COVID-19 restrictions etc.) to do so, the selection must be open to attendance by members of the general public.
- Definitions
- In these Terms:
- “Intellectual Property Rights” means all present and future rights of whatever nature anywhere in the world including, but not limited to, rights in respect of or in connection with copyright, inventions (including patents), trademarks, service marks, trade names, domain names, designs, confidential information, trade secrets and know-how and similar industrial, commercial and intellectual property rights, whether or not registered or registrable, and includes the right to apply for the registration of such rights, and whether existing in Australia or otherwise.
- “Laws” means all laws including rules of common law, principles of equity, statutes, regulations, proclamations, ordinances, by-laws, rules, regulatory principles and requirements, statutory rules of an industry body, statutory mandatory codes of conduct, writs, orders, injunctions, judgments, and generally accepted accounting principles in Australia.
- “Losses” means loss, damage, liability, charge, expense or cost (including all reasonable legal and other professional costs on a full indemnity basis) of any nature or kind.
- “Personal Information” means, for the purpose of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), information or an opinion about an identified individual, or an individual who is reasonably identifiable, whether the information or opinion is true or not and whether the information or opinion is recorded in a material form or not.
- “Winner” means, for a major Prize, you or the other individual whom you invite to join with you in enjoying the benefit of the major Prize.
