Tell us a bit about yourself.

I was born in France, but unfortunately do not speak any French because I have lived in Spain since I was 3 years old.

I decided I wanted to study in Australia after finishing my Bachelor (Engineering in Industrial Design and Product Development) in Spain, as I wanted to experience a different way of studying, and to challenge myself. Therefore, I choose to study a Master of Project Management at ECU.

I enrolled at ECU in 2020, when there was still covid restrictions, so I studied online for 2 semesters. However, ECU did a great job in accommodating us, and I had made friends in Australia even before arriving.
After landing in Perth, the experience couldn't have been better. I was able to learn so much at Uni, while volunteering my time to help other students as a mentor, meeting amazing people and also working in very rewarding jobs at ECU.

During my last semester, I was able to do an internship at IBM, where I also had an amazing time and learned a lot. After completing my internship, I was lucky enough to get a role as a graduate at IBM, and I have been enjoying my time there ever since.

What was your main reason(s) to select Perth as your study destination?

My main reason to come to Perth was because it is such a peaceful place with beautiful beaches.

Are there any notable experiences you’d like to share from your time studying?

One of the best things that help me when moving here, was joining 'International Cafe'. It is an event that ECU provides, that allows international students to come along, have a coffee and talk to other people that are in the same situation as you.

What are the top 3 skills you need in your role as a Supply Chain Consultant?

  1. Problem solving
  2. Organisational skills
  3. Communication skills

What would you say to students thinking of coming to Perth to study?

It is an amazing experience, don't even think about it twice. The people here are amazing and make everything worth it.
