StudyPerth Discover Perth: Agent Education Week 2026 Social Media Competition

Enter our Social Media Competition to go in the running to win one of two AUD$150 Gift Cards.

International education agents who attend the StudyPerth Discover Perth: Agent Education Week from 3-9 May 2026 and show the most creativity and enthusiasm on social media during the program will go in the running to win one of two AUD$150 gift cards. Terms and conditions are as follows. 

 

How to enter 

 

You can enter the StudyPerth Discover Perth: Agent Education Week 2026 Social Media Competition (hereafter called the Promotion) by:

  1. Attending the StudyPerth Discover Perth: Agent Education Week 2026 from 3-9 May in full.
  2. Post on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, Xiaohongshu (RedNote), or Weibo anytime during the program (3-9 May 2026). The more you share, the better your chances. 
  3. Add the official Discover Perth hashtags in every post - these will be confirmed at the start of the week.
  4. Tag @StudyPerth, @VisitPerth, and @EdithCowanUniversity in every post.
  5. Make sure your profile is set to public. Accounts set to private will not be considered as the content won't be visible to us.
  6. There is no limit to the number of posts you can share. 
  7. Keep it genuine, respectful, and all about your Discover Perth experience. 

There will be two prizes of an AUD$150 gift card. 

 

  1. Promoter

  2. Eligibility and How to Enter
    1. To be eligible for entry into the Promotion, you must satisfy the following eligibility criteria:
      1. Be an international education agent in Australia.
      2. Attend the StudyPerth Discover Perth: Agent Education Week 2026 from 3-9 May in full.
      3. Post on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, or LinkedIn anytime during the program (3-9 May 2026). The more you share, the better your chances. 
      4. Add the official Discover Perth hashtags in every post - these will be confirmed at the start of the week.
      5. Tag @StudyPerth, @VisitPerth, and @EdithCowanUniversity in every post.
      6. Make sure your profile is set to public. Accounts set to private will not be considered as the content won't be visible to us.
      7. There is no limit to the number of posts you can share. 
      8. Keep it genuine, respectful, and all about your Discover Perth experience. 
      9. Accept and comply with all these conditions. 
    2. Employees and immediate family members of StudyPerth and Member of StudyPerth are not eligible to enter the Promotion. 
  3. Entry Period
    1. The Promotion will run for a 7 day period from Sunday 3 May to Sat 9 May 2026. ("Entry Period"). 
  4. Entry Fee
    1. There is no entry fee to participate in this Promotion.
  5. Prize
    1. There are two (2) prizes: a gift card to the value of AUD$150. 
    2. The prize cannot be exchanged for cash. 
    3. StudyPerth's decision regarding the Winner is final and no correspondence will be entered into. 
  6. Winner Selection
    1. This Promotion will be judged based on three categories:
      1. Volume (how many posts you share across the week)
      2. Engagement (likes, comments, and shares your posts pick up)
      3. Creativity (the quality, originality, and storytelling behind your content)
    2. The Winner will be announced on the final day, and gift cards will be provided in person.
    3. You acknowledge and agree that the decision by StudyPerth to accept, reject, or disqualify an Entry is at StudyPerth's sole discretion and no correspondence will be entered into. 
  7. To redeem the Prize
    1. To redeem the Prize, the Winner must:
      1. Be present at the Farewell Event on the final day to collect the prize.
  8. Other important notes
    1. Content shared throughout the week will be shown at the Farewell Event at Edith Cowan University. 
    2. Official hashtags will be shared with all delegates before the program kicks off.
    3. Other hashtags you can use include: #studyperth #westernaustralia #studyaustralia
  9. Privacy
    1. StudyPerth collects Personal Information about you to conduct the Promotion and, where appropriate, to award a Prize and communicate with each Prize winner. StudyPerth will collect, use and disclose your Personal Information in accordance with its privacy policy. If you do not provide the Personal Information requested, StudyPerth will be unable to accept your Entry (and StudyPerth will refuse or reject the Entry) and you will be unable to participate in the Promotion. You can gain access to, update or correct your Personal Information held by StudyPerth by contacting StudyPerth at marketing@studyperth.com.au
    2. All Personal Information will be stored electronically in systems utilised by StudyPerth. A copy of StudyPerth’s Privacy Policy may be obtained at: https://www.studyperth.com.au/privacy-policy/ or by contacting StudyPerth on marketing@studyperth.com.au
  10. Disqualification
    1. Entries that do not comply with these terms and conditions will be disqualified.
    2. StudyPerth reserves the right, at any time, in its sole discretion, to verify the validity of Entries and your eligibility (including your identity, age, place of residence, student visa status, institution enrolment) and StudyPerth reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify you if StudyPerth has reason to believe you have breached any of these Terms, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of the Promotion. StudyPerth's legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved. 
  11. Liability
    1. Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, StudyPerth and its related entities (including its respective directors, officers, employees and agents) are not responsible for and exclude all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any Loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of: 
      1. any entry or Prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by StudyPerth) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of StudyPerth;
      2. any variation in Prize value to that stated in these Terms;
      3. any tax liability incurred by a beneficiary of a Prize (including you and any other Prize Recipient); 
      4. use/taking of the Prize; or
      5. the Promotion.
  12. Changes and Termination
    1. StudyPerth reserves the right to amend or terminate the competition at any time.
    2. Participants will be notified of any such changes.
  13. Governing Law
    1. These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Western Australia and you agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of Western Australia. 
    2. Nothing in these terms limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), as well as any other implied warranties under the Australian Securities and Investments Commission Act 2001 (Cth) or similar consumer protection laws in the states and territories of Australia (collectively, the “Non-Excludable Guarantees”). 
    3. Failure by StudyPerth to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. 
    4. Condition 16 for trade promotion lotteries requires that: "If practicable, members of the public must be given the opportunity to witness the prize draw. If that is not practicable, audit records confirming the prize draw must be made available to an authorised officer or member of the Police Force on request." Accordingly, unless it is impracticable (such as COVID-19 restrictions, etc.) to do so, the selection must be open to attendance by members of the general public. 
  14. Definitions
    1. In these Terms:
      1. “Intellectual Property Rights” means all present and future rights of whatever nature anywhere in the world including, but not limited to, rights in respect of or in connection with copyright, inventions (including patents), trademarks, service marks, trade names, domain names, designs, confidential information, trade secrets and know-how and similar industrial, commercial and intellectual property rights, whether or not registered or registrable, and includes the right to apply for the registration of such rights, and whether existing in Australia or otherwise. 
      2. “Laws” means all laws including rules of common law, principles of equity, statutes, regulations, proclamations, ordinances, by-laws, rules, regulatory principles and requirements, statutory rules of an industry body, statutory mandatory codes of conduct, writs, orders, injunctions, judgments, and generally accepted accounting principles in Australia. 
      3. “Losses” means loss, damage, liability, charge, expense or cost (including all reasonable legal and other professional costs on a full indemnity basis) of any nature or kind. 
      4. “Personal Information” means, for the purpose of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), information or an opinion about an identified individual, or an individual who is reasonably identifiable, whether the information or opinion is true or not and whether the information or opinion is recorded in a material form or not.
      5. “Winner” means, for a major Prize, you or the other individual whom you invite to join with you in enjoying the benefit of the major Prize.

By participating in this Promotion, all participants agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
