Career goals:
Studying in Western Australia is a superb opportunity. From that, I will to start my career in Community Services as a support worker. The sectors that I am most interested in are family and domestic violence, youth, child protection, disability and aged care. In addition, I will keep increasing my social network while growing both as a professional and person.
Previous experience in the field:
Volunteer Support Worker: Provided person-centred companionship and facilitated recreational activities tailored to individual interests and wellbeing, observed concerns, communicated relevant information to Registered Nurses and supervisors, and maintained accurate visit records.
Volunteer Telecross: Conducted daily scheduled welfare calls to monitor participant safety and wellbeing, followed escalation procedures when participants could not be reached, supporting appropriate welfare responses.
Volunteer – Retail & Community Support: Providing friendly and helpful assistance to customers, answering enquiries and enhancing the overall shopping experience, working as part of a team to meet daily processing targets, ensuring a steady stream of inventory for the retail stores.
