About UWA Centre for English Language Teaching (UWA CELT)
The UWA Centre for English Language Teaching (UWA CELT) reflects the tradition of the University by providing high quality English language teaching in a friendly and supportive environment. The Centre’s combination of a rigorous approach to teaching and learning with real and practical language experience gives students many opportunities to practise English and to learn about life in Australia through tasks, activities and projects. The unique and well structured modular programs developed by the Centre’s specialist language teachers help students discover strategies to become life-long learners of English.
Alongside high quality teaching and learning, UWA CELT encourages our students to forge strong connections and friendships during their time in Perth through our extensive social program.
