Working in collaboration with educational institutions, government and other stakeholders, we’re helping to position Perth as an internationally recognised study destination, offering productive learning pathways in a welcoming and vibrant location.

Our objectives

We've developed three clear objectives designed to ensure international students have the chance to discover Perth and the opportunity to live, learn and launch their education and training in Perth’s unique environment.

Lead the promotion of the WA international education value proposition
Develop and strengthen the WA international education value proposition to improve student experience and outcomes
Advocate, represent and collaborate to advance the interests of international education in WA

Our history

StudyPerth was founded in 1987 when key institutions identified a need to collaborate more coherently on international education issues.

Known initially as Perth Education City (PEC), we rebranded and relaunched as 'StudyPerth' in response to the need for a new identity for international education in a new, internationally recognised Perth.

Today, with strong support from the Government of Western Australia's Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation, StudyPerth is committed to partnering with and unifying its member institutions to position Perth as a first-choice study destination.
