Moving checklist

To help make sure you’re fully prepared for your move to Perth, we’ve put together this simple step-by-step checklist for you to follow.

Making the move to Perth

You’ve received your Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) from your Western Australian education provider of choice and confirmation of your student visa, and now you’re ready for your big move!

To make your journey as easy as possible, we’ve put together a helpful pre-departure checklist with the must-have items you need to travel.

  • I have my student visa and understand its requirements.

  • I have booked my flights to Perth and will arrive in time for orientation.

  • I have checked that my hand luggage and suitcase comply with my airline’s baggage allowance.

  • I have a small amount of Australian dollars with me for any unexpected or immediate expenses before setting up a bank account and cardless payment.

  • I have organised transport from Perth Airport and checked if my institution offers free airport pickup.

  • I have familiarised myself with the overall cost of living in Perth and have set a budget.

  • I have booked temporary accommodation for when I arrive in Perth.
