Cluster Human Resources Manager

Please provide us a brief description of your role, including duties and who you lead? 

As a Cluster Human Resources Manage, I oversee the HR functions across multiple locations which are Aloft Perth, Courtyard Perth and Four Points Perth.

My role is more strategic focusing on recruitment and staffing, employee relations, training and development, 
performance management, compliance and collaborating with senior management to align HR strategies with business goals.

The Cluster HR Manager typically leads a team of HR professionals, I work closely with department heads and managers to support the overall organizational strategy and ensure a cohesive approach to human resources across the cluster. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to effectively manage the diverse needs of multiple locations.

Why do you love working in hospitality?

I love working with people hence I am in Human Resources. Hospitality takes it a notch further because it is a customer facing industry. I have worked in several different industries and I can say by far hospitality is the most thrilling one. I mean look at our beautiful hotels and restaurants. It's never a dull day for me

What is your long-term goal within your career?

I want to grow within HR in the field in hospitality. Hopefully I'll be leading a region at a point in my life. 

Do you have any insight or motivational quotes you live by?

I don't have a quote but one thing I always tell myself is never doubt yourself and know that you're enough to achieve what you want.

  • Hotels
  • Events and festivals
