International Student 5-a-Side Football Competition Registration

The event

Inspired by the excitement of the FIFA World Cup, this event brings international students together through the universal language of football (soccer). It's an opportunity to build friendships, promote healthy minds and bodies, and enjoy some friendly competition in a fun and inclusive environment.

Event Schedule

• Date:  Friday 24 July 2026 
• Arrival: 12:30 pm
• Competition starts: 1:00 pm
• Finish: 4:00 pm

Registrations by

Friday 17th July 2026, 12:00pm.

How to register

• Registrations should be made by the school/college of behalf of each student team.
• Players should be 16 years and older (confirm this with your school) 
• Each school or college may register a team of up to seven (7) players.
• Schools or colleges may register more than one team.
• Each team will field five (5) players at a time—four (4) outfield players and one (1) goalkeeper—with the remaining players acting as substitutes and rotating throughout the competition.

Team composition

Teams must be mixed gender, with as even a balance as possible (for example, three (3) players of one gender and four (4) of another gender).

• Players must be 16+
• Players are responsible for their own fitness to participate
• Players should seek medical advice if unsure of fitness to participate
• Players will be required to sign a waiver acknowledging and agreeing to participation conditions
