St Stephen’s School

St Stephen's School, under the Uniting Church, offers a comprehensive education from Pre-K to Year 12, emphasizing service and personal growth, preparing well-rounded graduates for the world.

About the institution

We are a progressive independent school of the Uniting Church, with a reputation for excellence in teaching and developing well-rounded young people over the last forty years.

With two campuses in Perth’s northern suburbs, Duncraig and Carramar, the School offers a holistic education from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12.

St Stephen’s School was the first school established by the Uniting Church (WA) following its inception in 1977, uniting Methodist, Presbyterian and Congregational churches. The School was established in 1984 at the current Duncraig campus site. As Perth’s northern corridor continued to flourish with new families, the Carramar campus was built and officially opened in 2001. In 2011, an Early Learning Centre for Pre-Kindergarten to Year 2 opened at Hepburn Heights, Padbury, to complete St Stephen’s School’s multi-campus options for families in Perth’s north.

St Stephen was chosen as the School’s namesake in recognition of his character, service, wisdom and faith, which aligned with the values embraced by the School and its community.

Our mission to Serve God and serve One Another is underpinned by five key values – faith, learning, service, care and community. We welcome all who share these values from all faiths and backgrounds.
