We’re looking for our next round of International Student Ambassadors!

StudyPerth is looking for ten enthusiastic international students who love living or studying in Perth to become the next StudyPerth International Student Ambassadors! The program will run from July 2020 to November 2021.

The International Student Ambassadors have the opportunity to represent the international student community living and/or studying in Perth. They ensure that international students studying in Perth get the most out of their Perth experience by sharing tips and advice, and actively participating in StudyPerth’s student engagement initiatives.

The International Student Ambassadors will have access to unique professional development workshops (valued at over $2,000) and networking opportunities throughout the program. They will share stories and unique insight about their experience living or studying in Perth through blog writing and social media to promote Perth as a leading education option. They will also mentor  future international students through StudyPerth’s portal, ProsPER, as they create their Perth dream.

In addition to the professional development workshops, Ambassadors will receive a $650 allocation to attend professional development workshops of their choice which can be more related to their future careers.

Applicants must be international students studying at a Western Australian CRICOS registered education institution for a period of at least 6 months between July 2020 and November 2021. We are welcoming those who are currently residing in their home country but studying at a Perth institution to also apply.

This program is a wonderful way to build your professional portfolio and make some new friends, but we must ask that you only apply if you are willing to fully commit to all of the responsibilities of being an Ambassador. We estimate that the requirements will take approximately six hours a month between the blog posts, meetings and workshops.

Being a StudyPerth International Student Ambassador is really a great experience and will certainly be remembered. One of the great memories being an Ambassador is participating in workshops where you can see everyone is really eager to learn and develop their skills.”
