How To Have An Autumn Time In Perth

The weather might be cooling as we head towards the middle of the year, but that doesn’t mean the people of Perth go into hibernation. Check out some of the awesome autumn activities you can do around Perth!


Fruit picking | Perth Hills

While this is an activity you can do all year around, autumn is a particularly good time to head over to the Perth Hills and get your fill of delicious fruit. From apples and pears to pomegranates, oranges and even mangoes, the pre-winter months provide some of the best produce.


Here are but a few places in the Perth Hills that you can pick your own fruit, and enjoy other attractions:

Go for a hike

With cooler weather comes more incentive to get your walking shoes on and go for a hike. There are some fantastic hiking trails around Perth, ranging in difficulty from easy/beginner to more intense. Some of the more popular hiking trails include the Bells Rapid Trail Walk, around Lesmurdie Falls, and the Whiteman Park Walk Trails.

Perth love markets, even when the weather is cooler. Featuring the products of local artists, some funky tunes and an all-around explosion of creativity, this night market on Wednesday 15 May will showcase the best many of Perth’s best creative minds.
