What’s happening in Perth – August Edition

Perth and surrounds are serving up a blockbuster month of entertaining events like comedy shows, markets, and a whole lot of fabulous food. In fact, with so many events happening in August, we’ve shortlisted our favourites.

Live Laughs At The Comedy Lounge  (Every Friday & Saturday)

Sunday Favourites At Odyssea (Every Sunday)

Grab your friends and make a booking for a night of casual seaside fun. They’re bringing back all your favourite dishes including fish tacos, crispy pork belly and lamb gnocchi (to name a few), so there’ll be something for everyone to enjoy.

Pinot Palooza At Claremont Showgrounds (Saturday 4 August)

The largest touring Pinot Noir festival on the planet is back for 2018! Are you ready?

Avon Descent Festival Markets (Sunday 5 August)

Combine the thrills and spills of the Avon Descent with dozens of mouth-watering international cuisine stalls and free family entertainment all on the banks of the Avon River. The main stage will come to life with a diverse range of performers inspired from around the globe.

All You Can Eat Pizza: Vegan Edition (Tuesday 7 August)

For the first time in Perth, there will be an all you can eat pizza (vegan edition) at Maruzzella Ristorante Pizzeria in East Perth. It’s just $35/person and includes a beverage (wine or beer). Make sure you book because there are only two seatings available; 5-6:30pm or 6:45-8: 30pm.

Pre-Loved Market Winter Edition (Sunday 12 August)

After the highly successful July event, the Pre-Loved Fashion Markt is back for its winter edition at the E-Shed markets in Fremantle.

Perth Craft Beer Festival  (Friday 17 to Sunday 19 August)

Perth Craft Beer Festival returns this August, playing host to over 50 craft breweries and cideries, with more than 350 beers on offer, complimented by a selection of fresh food options. Held over four unique sessions, Perth Craft Beer Festival caters to all tastes, topped off with cosy fire pits, and a dedicated wine and cocktail bar.

Made Local Market (Friday 17 to Sunday 19 August)

The Made Local Market is back this August bringing you all the best local makers, eats, and music across one cosy weekend. This edition will focus on local makers and will host more than 30 stalls selling locally-made wares such as ceramic planters, artist prints, clothing, textiles, and jewelry.

Twilight At Yagan Square  (Friday 24 August)

Perth Makers Market is excited to bring a twilight market series to Yagan Square! Bringing together a highly curated selection of our handmade artisan stalls come and join the fun of shopping handmade. Browse the stalls, enjoy food from the businesses at Yagan Square and see the best that WA has to offer all in one easy access, central location in the Perth CBD.
