Free Wi-fi Zones
Wi-fi in Perth city
In 2007 Perth launched ResourcesNet – the first free to use 24-hour Wi-fi internet network in Australia. The network covers the area known as the “Resources Quarter”, a large section of the city centre including our business, cultural and entertainment districts.
So whether you need to do some online research or are looking for a place to have a coffee while catching up with family and friends back home, you can connect to the Internet free at any time of day or night.
If you do not own a laptop, there are also plenty of internet cafés located mostly around Perth’s city centre and Northbridge.
Wi-fi outside the city
Free Wi-Fi spots are also available outside of the city centre, such as the main streets of Subiaco, Leederville and Mount Lawley. The Fremantle café strip also has free Wi-Fi along South Terrace.
